week 12, day 3 of .
theme was to draw rainbow dash.

so I was gonna go for another 'unique mane/tail style' but it ended up looking not all that different than Dash's normal style -- with a weird tail. But it's okay!
I was just talking to a friend of mine and we came up with the idea that this could well be Dash between the filly age we saw in Cutiemark Chronicles and the adult age she is currently in the show. So let's say it's Adolescent Dash fanart.

I can tell I'm getting better at drawing legs and hooves every time, and slowly but surely making the eyes look more and more like they should. For some reason today's piece took many times longer than the last two days', probably because of using a more unique pose and drawing one of the more complicated ponies, what with her tricky cutiemark and mane colors.
